Three Butler County basketball teams will be in playoff action this week:

The Karns City boys basketball team will take on Brookville in the District 9 Class AA semifinals at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Clarion University.

The Slippery Rock girls basketball team will clash with Villa Maria in the District 10 Class AAA semifinals at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Meadville High School.

The Karns City girls basketball team will battle Redbank Valley in the District 9 Class AA semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Clarion University.
