Turnbaugh, Hillard
Emma Turnbaugh and Devon Hillard, both of Shoreline, Wash., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sept. 3 in an outdoor ceremony at Mount Ascutney Resort in Brownsville, Vt. Justice of the peace Mary Riley officiated. A reception followed at the resort.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Robin Turnbaugh of Roslindale, Mass., and Chesterfield, N.H., and the granddaughter of Phyllis McCrea of Cabot. Parents of the bridegroom are Gary Hillard of Reading, Vt., and Tamara Hillard of Yarmouth, Mass.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Boston Latin School. She also attended Northeastern University and the Massachusetts College of Art. She is a self-employed artist in the Seattle area.
The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Phillips Academy and attended Boston University. He works as a website security architect for Cingular Wireless in Seattle.
Following a honeymoon trip to Costa Allegre, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Shoreline.
