Bowen, Kuhn
Gibsonia residents Amanda Bowen and Todd Kuhn were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at St. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Wilson, N.C. The Rev. Gregory Lowchy officiated. A reception followed at the Rose Hill Plantation.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Michael and Carol Bowen of Wilson. Parents of the bridegroom are Dr. Ralph and Sally Kuhn of Butler.
The honor attendant was Meredith Landau of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Mary Claire Satterly of New York City, Brooke Davidson of New Orleans, Elizabeth Salter of Atlanta and Jennifer Mayer of Charlotte, N.C.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Robert Ferguson of Pittsburgh. Ushers included H. Kevin Cohen of Boulder, Colo.; Andrew Braham, Matthew Kramer and the groom's brothers David Kuhn and Michael Kuhn, all of Pittsburgh; John Chianese of New York City; the bride's brother Christopher Bowen of Wilmington, N.C.; and the groom's brother Mark Kuhn of Butler.
The bride attended Hunt High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
The groom graduated in 1992 from Shady Side Academy, in 1996 from Lehigh University and in 2005 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is an associate in the dental practice of Drs. Kuhn and Beall.
Following a honeymoon trip to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Gibsonia.
