Lewis, Shaw
Erin Elizabeth Lewis and Wesley Louis Shaw, both of Rochester Hills, Mich., were united in marriage Sept. 12 at First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Rob Gillgrist officiated. A reception followed at Highfield Hall in Butler.
The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Pam Lewis of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Louis and Valerie Shaw of Saxonburg.
The maid of honor was Ashley Harper of Owings Mills, Md. Bridesmaids included Megan Hull of Alexandria, Va., Libby Burris of Saxonburg, Nichole Hepler of Chicora, Nichole Asanovic of Moon Township and Rebecca Medvid of North Olmsted, Ohio.
The flower girls were Emilia Medvid of North Olmsted and Teigan Blumer of Saxonburg.
Performing the duties of best man was Keegan McGregor of West Chester. Groomsmen included Kyle Garvin of Farmington Hills, Mich., Tyler Wright of Philadelphia, Alex Koslov of Plymouth, Mich., Arsen Asanovic of Moon Township and Brian Medvid of North Olmsted.
Ushers included Kyle Lewis of Rochester, N.Y., Garrett Shaw of Saxonburg, Carl Shaw of Erie, Brian Fennell of Butler and Mark Keck of Saxonburg.
The ring bearers were Benjamin and William Medvid of North Olmsted.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Knoch High School. She graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and English. She graduated from Central Michigan University in 2014 with a master’s degree in English.
She is an assistant store manager at Starbucks in Rochester Hills.
The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2007. He graduated from Penn State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. In 2014, he graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
He is a project engineer at BorgWarner in Auburn Hills, Mich.
The couple is making their home in Rochester Hills.
