Gaiser 50th anniversary
Dennis and Elaine Gaiser of Petrolia celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Allegheny Grill in Foxburg.
Gaiser married the former Elaine Follstaedt on Dec. 18, 1965, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Hannahstown.
They have two children, Chad (Amy) Gaiser of Douglassville and Gwen (Eric) Zack of Washington, D.C.
They also have two granddaughters.
Gaiser retired from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School after 32 years as a mathematics teacher, and basketball, track and cross country coach.
He enjoys watching and participating in athletics. He is an avid golfer and a former PIAA basketball official. He participates in area duckpin bowling and horseshoe leagues.
He is a lifelong member of the Karns City United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gaiser practiced nursing for more than 45 years with Butler area physicians.
She enjoys baking pies, gardening, craft making, reading and volunteering. She is an active lifelong participant and officer with the Butler Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumni.
She is a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Hannahstown.
