John 'Jack' and Jean Rearick Jr.

John W. “Jack” and Jean L. Rearick Jr. of Connoquenessing celebrated 70 years of marriage with an intimate family gathering.

Rearick married the former Jean L. Hilliard on Aug. 28, 1946, at her uncle’s home in Pittsburgh.

They have three children, Barbara (Charles) Hiles of Butler, Deborah Frederick of Butler and Lezlee Shulik of Connoquenessing.

They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Rearick was a welder at Butler Armco for 43 years.

He is a member of the VFW.

Mrs. Rearick worked at Milo Williams Jewelers for 23 years.

The Rearicks are members of Connoquenessing United Methodist Church.
