Jayne and James Hoover

James and Jayne Hoover of Butler will celebrate 35 years of marriage with a family dinner in Butler and a trip to Las Vegas.

Hoover married the former Jayne Henning on Sept. 4, 1981, at West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church.

They have five children, Karen (James) Huselton of Butler, Susan Hoover of Butler, David (Sharen) Hoover of Harrisville, Steven (Jennifer) Minner of Pittsburgh and Alissa (Brian) Duke of Shrewsbury, Mass.

They also have nine grandchildren.

Hoover was a steelworker and retired from AK Steel after 38 years.

He enjoys golfing and traveling.

Mrs. Hoover is a retired school teacher and was employed by the Moniteau School District and the Intermediate Unit.

She enjoys traveling.
