Scavenger hunt helps fire districtZELIENOPLE — The fifth Adult Community Scavenger Hunt is returning Oct. 7.Fisher’s Bar and Restaurant is hosting the event, which starts at noon.Registration is $20 per person, and proceeds will benefit the Harmony Fire District. The registration fee includes food and soft drinks.K&K Mechanical Services has provided a shuttle bus to transport participants during the event.Registration forms can be found on the Harmony Fire District’s Facebook page as well as on the Fisher’s Bar and Grill Facebook page.All participants must be 18 years or older to register.,b>Town hall meeting slated at VA centerCENTER TWP — VA Butler Healthcare will host its first town hall meeting at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center on North Duffy Road Sept 20.The event will begin at 5 p.m. in the center’s second floor auditorium. It is one of a series of meetings being hosted to provide veterans with an additional forum to provide feedback on local operations and learn about programs offered by the VA.The health center is at 353 N. Duffy Road in Center Township.
