Allyson Kepple reached the 1,000-point plateau Friday night, scoring 24 points in Karns City's 64-33 girls basketball victory over A-CValley.

Kepple has 1,001 points for her career. She added eight steals and five rebounds for the Gremlins (9-6).

Ashley Campbell added 12 points and Kylee Rankin 11 for Karns City. Maureen McGreevy contributed 10 points and five rebounds.

John Raymus scored two goals and Andrew Tang tallied a goal and assist as Seneca Valley defeated Plum 6-0 Friday.Also scoring for the Raiders (9-3) were Logan Pfeffer, Billy Patterson and Tyler Mesisca.Matt Jarrett and Joe Sasala each had assists and goalie Scott Van Horn earned the shutout with 19 saves.

Troy Double scored three goals as Butler beat Shaler 6-2 recently at the Ice Connection.Dom Oliver, Corey Chuba and Nick Whann each added one goal while Tanner Gilliland had three assists and Derek Ritenour two. Goalie Mike Arturo made nine saves, with defensive help from Dylan Rice and Zach Dunkle.Butler plays at 8:20 p.m. Saturday against Pine-Richland.
