Butler boys suffer defeat in Florida
Nate Snodgrass scored 23 points — hitting all seven of his free throws — but the Butler boys basketball team dropped a 68-57 decision to Olentangy Liberty (Ohio) Thursday afternoon in Orlando, Fla.
The Golden Tornado (5-3) were scheduled to play two games this morning at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex before returning home.
Butler trailed by 13 at halftime, but pulled within four in the third and fourth quarters. The Tornado could not get any closer, however, and were forced to foul in the waning moments of the game.
Nick Archer, a 6-foot-7 center, scored 22 points for Olentangy Liberty while Jake Bischoff added 16.
