Adamski helps Mars take first place
Taryn Adamski connected on nine of her 12 shots from the field for 18 points, leading the Mars girls basketball team to a 54-46 overtime victory over Hampton in Section 1-AAA Wednesday.
Alina Hudac and Abby Marshall had 10 points each for the Planets (7-3, 4-0) to take sole possession of first place.
The Talbots (6-3, 3-1) received 11 points from Maria Milfeit.
