Butler residents Edelweiss Montera and Michael Linnon were united in marriage on Oct. 6 at the Latter Day Saints Temple in Washington, D.C. The Rev. Jerrol Boyer officiated. A reception followed on Oct. 7 at the Springfield Grill in Mercer County. A reception with the bride's family is planned in Cebu City, Philippines.

The bride is the daughter of Bienvenido Ramos and Beatriz Tunacao Montera of Cebu City. Parents of the bridegroom are Dolores Linnon of Butler and the late John Linnon.

The flower girl was Sharon Hultz.

The bride is a 1990 graduate of the University of San Jose-Recoletos, where she earned a bachelor's degree in computer science.

The bridegroom attended Irvine College. He works as a mortgage banker for Tuscany Financial in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Kelleys Island, Ohio, the couple is making their home in Natrona Heights.
