Pinto, DeGisi
Nina Pinto and Mario DeGisi, both of Washington, D.C., exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. James Dolan officiated. A reception was held at Greystone Fields.
The bride is the daughter of Frank and Barbara Pinto of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Elio and Marta DeGisi of Medford, N.J.
The honor attendant was Sara Green of Atlanta. Bridesmaids were Lia DeGisi and Sabina DeGisi, both of Medford; Elisabeth Callahan of Atlanta; and Meredith Castelli of Hamden, Conn.
Performing the duties of best man was Carmen DeGisi of Medford. Ushers were Michael Pinto of Charlotte, N.C.; Anthony Pinto of Butler; Patrick Callahan of Atlanta; and Robert Baker of New York City.
The bride graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from the Catholic University of America. She works for the Homeland Security Council in the White House, Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from St. Joseph Preparatory School, and earned a bachelor's degree in 2000 and a master's degree in 2003 from the Catholic University of America. He works for the Lehman, Smith, McLeish Architectural Firm in Washington, D.C.
The couple is living in Washington, D.C., after honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
