COLLEGE NOTES

SHANE KACLIK (Mars), a senior tailback on the Grove City College football team, has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. He ran for a career-high 153 yards and three touchdowns in the Wolverines’ 47-10 win over Anderson (Ind.).

BRANDON MILLER (Grove City College), a junior outside linebacker, captured PAC Special Teams Player of the Week. He had five tackles and returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown against Anderson.

JESSICA HECK (Grove City College) has been named PAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. She earned all-tournament recognition as a defender in her team’s wins over Rochester Institute of Technology and John Carroll.

MEGHAN KELLY (Mars), a sophomore goalkeeper for Edinboro University, has been named PSAC West Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. She recorded 12 saves in posting shutouts of 2-0 over Shippensburg and 3-0 over Bloomsburg.

ALEX PERRI (Mars), a sophomore midfielder for Edinboro, has been named PSAC West Men’s Soccer Player of the Week. He had four goals and an assist, including a hat trick and a game-winning goal, in wins over Shepherd and Lock Haven.

MEGHAN FRANZ (Seneca Valley) recorded six blocks to help the California (Pa.) University volleyball team to a 3-0 win over West Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday.
