MEGHAN FRANZ (Seneca Valley), a senior middle hitter on the California (Pa.) University volleyball team, had 14 kills and a .583 hitting percentage in the Vulcans’ 25-18, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17 PSAC quarterfinal win over Clarion on Tuesday.

JAKE TOMASOVIC (Butler), a member of the United States Merchant Marine Academy hockey team, had a goal and assist in a recent 6-5 win over Stevens College. He scored a goal in an 8-4 win over Stevens, as well.

DAN GUTMANN (Seneca Valley) was a member of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:38.25) to help the Westminster College swimming and diving team dispatch Washington & Jefferson College 183-101 Wednesday.

KELSEY REOTT (Slippery Rock), a member of the Westminster College women’s swimming and diving team, won the 200 backstroke (2:12.69) and keyed the 400 freestyle relay team to a winning time of 3:43.90.
