MARY McDONALD (Portersville Christian), a freshman on the Grove City College women’s basketball team, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds in the Wolverines’ 55-44 victory over Bethany Saturday.

CHRISTIAN DURBIN (Seneca Valley) had 12 points, six rebounds and six assists, but the Grove City College men’s basketball team fell in overtime to Bethany, 87-83.

MEGHAN FRANZ (Seneca Valley) had seven kills and four blocks for the California (Pa.) women’s volleyball team, but the Vulcans fell to Wheeling Jesuit in the NCAA Atlantic regional Championship 3-1 on Saturday. Franz was selected to the all-tournament team for recording 30 kills and six blocks in three matches.

JUSTIN PRITCHARD (Seneca Valley), a member of the Penn State Behrend men’s swimming team, was part of the winning 200 medley relay with a pool record time of 1:34.53 at Fredonia (N.Y.) State Blue Devil Invitational Sunday. On Saturday, he helped the 400 medley relay set the pool record (3:29.76) as well as in the 200 free relay (1:26.55).
