BRIAN GIESLER (Slippery Rock) and CHRISTIAN LOCHER (Mars), sophomores on the Grove City College golf team, placed sixth and eighth, respectively, at the Muskingum University Invitational recently. Giesler carded a 73-73-146, Locher a 76-71-147.

SARAH CESSAR (Slippery Rock), a junior on the Grove City College women’s track and field team, placed third in the steeplechase with a time of 12 minutes, 41.346 seconds at the recent Slippery Rock University Open.

NATHAN STEELE (Seneca Valley), a member of the Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball team, finished with a .429 hitting percentage and led the team with 17 kills during a 3-2 loss to D’Youville.

STEPHANIE STOUGHTON (Karns City), a member of the Penn State Behrend women’s track and field team, won the javelin with a throw of 34.41 meters at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet over the weekend.

MARANDA TANO (Knoch), also a member of the PSU Behrend women’s track and field team, placed third in the hammer throw at the CMU meet with a toss of 31.13 meters.
