Slomer's OT goal lifts Knoch, 1-0

Alex Slomer scored with two minutes remaining in the second overtime to give the Knoch boys soccer team a 1-0 win over Deer Lakes.

Bob Larrimer assisted on the winning tally. Andy Fritz made four saves to preserve the shutout for the Knights (3-4, 3-0).

Mars 4, Highlands 0 — Karli Paracca, Lydia Dennis, Tricia Glavin and Olivia Haefner each scored one goal for Mars.Paracca added an assist for the Planets (4-1, 4-0).Karns City 4, Brookville 1 — Breann Wood, Emily Lopresti, Caterina Lopresti and Maggie McKain each registered a goal in the win.The Gremlins (4-0) will play at Keystone Saturday.

Knoch 3, Burrell 0 — Celina Sanks had 19 kills and 10 digs and Kara Fitzpatrick 16 service points and 12 digs as the Knights downed the Bucs 25-21, 31-29, 25-13.Taylor Tabacchi added 12 digs for Knoch (4-1, 3-1), which hosts Indiana in non-section action Monday.
