Martin, Parker

Lindsay Martin of Butler and Jeremy Parker of Chicora were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. The Rev. John McCloskey officiated. A reception followed at Vagabond Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Karen Martin of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and Susan Parker of Chicora.

The honor attendant was Kelly DeMatt of Butler. Bridesmaids were Amy Kennedy of Portersville; Christy Strobel and Amanda Gettinger, both of Butler; and Lauren DeMundo of Moundsville, W.Va.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Jeremy Mills of Chicora. Groomsmen were Brian Parker and Joe DeLaney, both of Chicora, and Patrick Pettinato and Pete Fisher, both of Butler. Ushers included the bride's brothers Patrick Martin of Manasquan, N.J., and Edward Martin of Rochester, N.Y.

The bride graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 1999 from West Liberty State College, earning a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She works for Dr. Michael Miller, DMD in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Karns City High School. He works for Penn United Technology in Saxonburg.

After honeymooning in Aruba, the couple is making their first home in Butler.
