Elizabeth Ann FaJohn, 69, of Slippery Rock passed away at 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Grove City Medical Center in Mercer County following a 6-month illness.

Born in Boyers, Feb. 17, 1942, she was the daughter of Domenic Anthony Marterella and Theresa Russo Marterella.

She married Arthur FaJohn on June 15, 1968. He preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2004.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Slippery Rock.

She enjoyed Steelers games and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Robert E. FaJohn (Tyra) of Jefferson, Ohio, and Dominic J. FaJohn of Arnold; two sisters, Loretta Tomei of Slippery Rock and Dolores Humphrey (Joseph) of Grove City; three grandchildren, David, Kyla and Raely; and a great-grandson, Jack FaJohn.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two infant brothers.

<B>FAJOHN </B>— Family and friends of Elizabeth Ann FaJohn, who died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, will be received at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock, from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 670 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Father Kevin Poecking, pastor of the church, presiding. Interment will follow in Boyers Epiphany Cemetery, Butler County.
