Moniteau girls net 38-32 win

Emily Rider scored 10 of her game-high 17 points in the third quarter to help Moniteau pull out a 38-32 road win over A-C Valley in high school girls basketball action Wednesday night.

Rider hit four 3-pointers in the win for the Warriors (1-2).

Kelsey Boocks scored 14 points to pace the Falcons (0-1).

Andrew Johnston scored 26 points and also had 10 rebounds, but Karns City lost a late lead and fell in overtime to St. Joseph's 62-60.

Tyler Kepple added 11 points for the Gremlins.

John Arcuri paced St. Joseph's with 28 points.
