A-C Valley blows past DuBois Central Catholic
Brody Irwin scored 18 points to lead four A-C Valley players in double digits as the Falcons won their first-round District 9 Class A playoff game in emphatic fashion, 77-33, over DuBois Central Catholic Tuesday night.
Ryan Bartley added 16 points and Landon Delisio and Cole Terwilliger pitched in 12 points each for A-C Valley (20-4).
The Falcons broke open the game in the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 44-13 in the final two quarters.
A-C Valley will host Ridgway — a 96-45 winner over Oswayo Valley — in the quarterfinals on Friday at 7 p.m.
