Spohn, Ness

Butler residents Jennie Spohn and Michael Ness were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Oct. 15 at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg. The Rev. Donn Ed officiated. A reception was held at Cooper Hall in Roebling Park, Saxonburg.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Nora Spohn of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dennis and Joanne Ness, also of Butler.

The maid of honor was Katie Spohn of Butler. The miniature bride was Sydney Ness of Butler and the flower girl was Torrey Shields of Valencia.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Craig Beunier of Butler.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Butler High School and a 1998 graduate of the Wilma Boyd Career School. She works for Shields Asphalt Paving.

The bridegroom graduated in 1990 from Knoch High School. He is employed at Commercial Asphalt Supply.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Gateway Lodge in the Allegheny National Forest, the couple is making their home in Butler.
