Beyhan Atasoy and Ty Harvey, both of Raleigh, N.C., exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Parterre Garden at Richmond Hill Inn in Asheville, N.C. The Rev. Frederick Werhan officiated. A reception followed in the Garden Pavilion at Richmond Hill Inn. A reception was also held in October at Exploris in Raleigh.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Erdogan Atasoy of Louisville, Ky., and the late Turkan Atasoy. Parents of the bridegroom are Clark and Carole Harvey of Saxonburg.

The matron of honor was Mary Atasoy of Raleigh.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Cress Bell of Irvine, Calif.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Louisville Collegiate High School and a 1995 and 1999 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works at Pharmaceutical Product Development in Raleigh.

The groom graduated in 1992 from Knoch High School and in 1996 from North Carolina State University. He works for Bio Merieux in Durham, N.C.

Following a wedding trip to Kauai and Maui, Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Raleigh.
