Shanon and Brad Young

Shanon Harbison and Brad Young, both of Export, were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver. The Rev. Matthew Judd officiated. A reception followed at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Township.

The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Rochelle Harbison of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Lynn and Joni Young of Export.

The honor attendant was Andria Jones of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth Monaco of Austintown, Ohio; Danielle Murin of Tampa, Fla.; Marcie Cielinsky of Natrona Heights; Jamie Young of Export; Allyson Roberts of Saxonburg; and Lacey Roberts of Sarver.

Performing the duties of best man was Tom Musgrove of Greensburg. Ushers included Jim Weiland of Roanoke Rapids, Va.; Anthony Malloy of Monroeville; Josh Harbison of Butler and Chris Witek of Harrison City.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a degree in nursing. She works at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated from Penn Trafford High School in 1998 and from Penn State University in 2002 with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering. He works for Sony in Mount Pleasant.

Following a honeymoon trip to Los Angeles and San Diego, the couple is making their home in Export.
