10:57 p.m. Thursday - Harold J. Criley Jr., 48, of 514 W. Penn St. was arrested for driving under the influence after the car he was driving kept swerving into oncoming traffic. Police recorded Criley's blood-alcohol level at 0.228.6:51 p.m. Thursday - Robert Lee Miller, 32, of 227 Taft St. was arrested for harassment after both he and his girlfriend, Rachelle Robinson, no age given, called police. Robinson said Miller assaulted her mother, while Miller reported he was assaulted by an old woman with a cane. When police arrived, witnesses said they saw Miller push the woman. Police told Miller to avoid contact with the Robinson residence.9:11 a.m. Wednesday - Jim Womer, no age given, reported that someone broke into parking meter number 757. At 11:30 a.m., a meter monitor reported to police that parking meters 676, 2, 691 and 641 on North McKean Street and parking meters 34, 629 and 624 on South McKean Street were broken into. Someone also tried to break into meter 612. Meter repairs also show entry to two other meters on South McKean Street, seven meters on North McKean Street and one meter on North Washington Street. Police said the locks on the meters were forced in, allowing access to the collection cup. Police also found damage to meter 756 on Jackson Street, 748 on North McKean, and 620 on South McKean Street.Wednesday - Kathy Glasgow, no age given, of South Main Street reported eight vehicles in the used car lot had holes shot into the windshields.2:58 p.m. Wednesday - Jamie John, no age given, of 214 Chateau Lane, Butler, reported that someone broke into her car while it was parked in the Diamond Lot. John said she parked the car and returned 15 minutes later to find someone had stolen her purse. She said she believe her car doors were locked, but found a rear door was unlocked.1:47 p.m. Sunday - Marleen M. Chojnacki, no age given, of 320 Sunset Drive hit the parked car of Eric M. Baptiste, 443 N. Bluff St., damaging Baptiste's side mirror.
Tuesday - Gara L. Ray, Sunbury Estates, Center Township, said an unknown person stole his identity and credit card information and made about $6,000 worth of purchases.Sunday - An unknown vehicle struck the left rear door of an unoccupied 1996 Civic Honda owned by Mark A. Kratz, 21, Beaver Falls, in the rear parking lot at 166 W. Liberty St. in Slippery Rock and left undetected.4:30 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by Melanie A. Zatezalo, 19, of Jeannette was stopped on Route 8 at Kelly Road waiting for a vehicle to turn onto Kelly Road when a car driven by Whitney DiFrischia, 24, of Prospect struck the rear of Zatezalo's car. No one was injured in the accident.1:15 a.m. Thursday - Walter Michael Wojichowski, 26, of 102 Stone House Drive in Connoquenessing Township was arrested for simple assault after a domestic violence call. Wojichowski was arrested and arraigned by District Judge Kevin O'Donnell and sent to Butler County Prison, where he was released on $3,000 bond.
10 a.m. Thursday - An unknown person entered a home along Boltz Road, about a half mile west of Route 268 in East Franklin Township owned by Jennifer Martz, 32, of Chicora and damaged the inside of the house and removed several items.
3:02 a.m. May 1 - Miguel Alehondro Rivera, 28, of Virginia Ave., Butler, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop along Route 528. The man failed field sobriety and breath analyzer tests and was later taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry, where a blood test revealed a 0.137 blood-alcohol level.5:53 p.m. April 30 - Robert James Stiger, Jr. 39, of New Castle, Lawrence County, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after police found the man's car parked in the Exxon station lot after receiving a report that the man's vehicle had struck mailboxes in front of the Striker's Sports Bar on Route 19. The man failed field sobriety tests and was later taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for blood analysis. Results were unavailable.1:54 a.m. April 29 - Joshua McAlexander, 21, of Granger, Ind., was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Route 19. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was later taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry, where his blood test revealed a blood-alcohol level of 0.165.1:25 p.m. April 27 - Marvin Noel Patterson, Jr., no age available, of Chatham, Va., was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign, general requirements for braking systems and accidents involving overturned vehicles after police said he was exiting Interstate 79 in his tractor-trailer truck when he failed to negotiate the turn onto Route 68, struck a concrete median and overturned the truck on its side.
11:37 p.m. Saturday - Trevor J. Mayne, 28, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 322 in Paint Township.
