CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:
Marc Allan DiMarzio, 29, of Conway, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged May 25 by the Cranberry Township police with theft of leased property and theft by deception.
Nikki Curtis, 20, of Baden, Beaver County, waived her case to court. She was charged June 30 by the Cranberry Township police with theft by failing to make required dispersal of funds and receiving stolen property.
William Soisson Beatty, 65, of Wexford, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged May 11 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to keep right.
Richard N. McClelland, 22, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged June 6 by the Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks.
Scott M. Gibbons, 29, of Renfrew waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 25, 2002, by the Cranberry Township police with writing bad checks.
EVANS CITY - District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Carl J. Bonomo, 23, of Renfrew waived his case to court. He was charged June 9 by the Evans City police with theft of property lost, mislaid or delivered by mistake.Steven J. Kennealy, 38, of Macomb, Mich., waived his case to court. He was charged July 10 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol.Mark Alan Gadd, 44, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged Nov. 3, 2004, by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, disregard of traffic lane, speeding and careless driving.Thomas Shawn Edinger, 26, of Mars waived his case to court. He was charged July 7 by the Adams Township police with fleeing or attempting to allude an officer, fleeing or attempting to allude signals, driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving and improper use of learner's permit.Thomas J. Hill, 36, of Rochester, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged May 17 by the Jackson Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license and failure to keep right.Jack Lee Toth, 38, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, waived his case to court. He was charged June 7 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, disregard of traffic lane, restrictions on alcoholic beverages, careless driving and operating a vehicle without proper inspection.Edward Paul Halagich, 34, of Butler waived his two separate cases to court. He was charged June 2 by the state police with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was also charged July 13 by the state police with burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking.Christopher A. McConnetta, 22, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged June 7 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving.William Michael Zavidny, 19, of Prospect waived his case to court. He was charged May 11 by the state police with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal trespass, theft and criminal mischief.
WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:James Michael Morrow, 45, of Sandy Lake waived his case to court. Sandy Lake police charged him with failure to keep right, driving under the influence on North Main Street in Sandy Lake.Melissa Rust, 33, of Grove City pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. She was charged by Grove City police after she tried to escape from her handcuffs as two officers tried to remove her from the cruiser. She threw a ring and her glasses at them. She was sentenced to a year state probation and ordered to pay $25 for the use of a taser cartridge used to subdue her.Meade W. Everson, 30, of Mercer pleaded guilty to theft by deception. State police in Mercer charged he presented himself as an employee of Rainsoft Water Systems and sold a warranty and water system to a Grove City couple. He didn't deliver the products and, after contacted, didn't pay restitution. He was sentenced to six months to a year in Mercer County Jail, a year of state probation and ordered to pay $144.50 in costs and $1578.73 in restitution.Cliff S. Aley Jr., 47, of Ambridge had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged him with four counts of hindering apprehension in the investigation into the disappearance of Sandra Kay Baker, a Delaware Township, Mercer County, woman last seen May 25, 2000. Police said Aley, a private investigator, withheld information regarding work he had done for Baker's fiancé, William T. Crea Jr., and statements Crea made to Aley.
