Ronald "Punkin" and L. Jeanne Kummer of Butler celebrated 45 years of marriage with a dinner Sunday at Villa Grande restaurant.

The former Lucille Jeanne Rocco married Kummer May 19, 1962, at St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church, now St. Fidelis, in Meridian.

They have four children, Ron II, Ginger, Andrea and Rena, all of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren.

Kummer is retired from AK Steel. He enjoys golf.

Ms. Kummer is retired from Lyn-Mar Corporation.

The couple enjoys bowling.
