Schaney, Briggs
Janine Schaney of Butler and Michael Briggs of Indiana, Pa., were united in marriage at 3 p.m. July 23 at the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park, Butler. The Rev. James Dollhopf officiated. A reception followed at the shelter.
The bride is the daughter of George and Zema Schaney of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Marc Briggs of Russell and Cindy Collyer of Lake Mary, Fla.
The honor attendant was Jessica Schaney of Indiana, Pa. Bridesmaids were Meghann Schaney of Portage, Megan O'Rourke of Indiana and Julie Granet of Bakerstown.
Performing the duties of best man was Jamie Flaherty of Allentown. Ushers were Troy West of Sugar Grove, Doug Augustine of Greenville and Dan Briggs of Rochester, N.Y. The ring bearer was Jordon Clark of Warren.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a 2005 graduate of Pennsylvania State University. She works for Woods Services in Longhorn.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Eisenhower High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University. He works for Off Campus Dining Network in King of Prussia.
The couple is making their first home in Trevose.
