Colosimo, Josey
Christina Colosimo and Joseph Josey, both of Takoma Park, Md. were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Monroe County Courthouse, Monroe, Mich. Magistrate Michelle Marcero officiated. A reception was held at LaRoy's Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph Colosimo of Boyers and Shirley Colosimo of Monroe. Parents of the bridegroom are Lawson and Carol Josey of Pineville, N.C.
Witnessing the ceremony were Todd Colosimo of Boyers and Michael Josey of Toledo, Ohio. The ring bearer was Terry Colosimo of Forestville.
The bride graduated in 1993 from Slippery Rock High School, earned a bachelor's degree in 1997 from Gannon University and a master's degree in 2001 from Virginia Commonwealth University. She works for National Academies Press in Washington, D.C.
The bridegroom graduated in 1990 from Plymouth-Canton High School and is a student at Strayer University. He works for Apex Systems Inc. in Fairfax, Va.
After honeymooning in Florence, Italy, the couple is making their home in Takoma Park, Md.
