CONNOQUENESSING TWP — Firefighters quickly contained a fire in a detached garage early Thursday afternoon.

No one was injured in the fire, but a car, a dump truck and a tractor inside were damaged, according to fire officials.

The fire at 124 Eagle Mill Road was reported just after 1 p.m. It was under control by 1:30 p.m. and did not spread to the house on the property.

The Connoquenessing Township, Prospect and Butler Township fire departments responded.

Eagle Mill Road from Route 422 south to the house was closed as of 2 p.m. as responders worked to clean up the scene.
