Monday — Kristi L. Bowser, 44, of Center Township was charged with being at a man’s apartment July 29 on the 200 block of West Diamond Street after he previously told her she was not permitted there.

Police charged Bowser with defiant trespass.

Thursday — Joshua M. McBride, 27, and Ryan Z. Wilson, 27, both of Butler were arrested on charges they stole a 55-inch television last weekend from Sam’s Club at Moraine Pointe Plaza.

The defendants are accused of taking the TV, valued at $1,299.77, about 4:20 p.m. Saturday. Police said with the help of county probation officer they identified both defendants Wednesday.

McBride and Wilson were both arraigned on felony counts of retail theft and conspiracy. They were placed in Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail each and on probation detainers, following arraignment.

Aug. 17 — Police charged a Crawford County man with two cases of identity theft. The defendant, Scott W. Braden, 36, of Meadville, is accused of using a stolen credit card and a stolen debit card last month at several stores in the township.

Braden in one case bought gasoline and merchandise July 3 with a stolen credit card at the Sheetz on Center Avenue. He is charged with two counts each of identity theft, access device fraud and theft by deception.

Additionally, he is charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle and fraudulent use of a license plate.

Police in the other case allege Braden on July 3, 4 and 5 used a stolen debit card to buy items at five different stores in Butler County — four in Butler Township and one in Franklin Township. The unauthorized purchases totaled $271.05, according to a police report.

He is charged with five counts each of identity theft, access device fraud, theft by deception and one count of receiving stolen property.

Braden is in Allegheny County Jail stemming from his arrest Aug. 11 in Aspinwall on charges of attempted theft from a vehicle and public drunkenness. He is being held on three probation detainers, according to a jail official.

Aug. 13 — Two out-of-county men were allegedly caught with drugs at the Super 8 motel parking lot on Route 8 south.

Joshua C. Johnson, 37, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police also charged him with false identification to law enforcement authorities.

Francis P. Evans, 47, of Apollo, Armstrong County, is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Thursday — Police announced they are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected in a road rage incident last weekend. A caller reported the woman, who was driving a pickup truck, pulled a handgun during the incident about 3:10 p.m. Aug. 18 at West Main and Elm streets.

The unknown suspect apparently became angry when the caller crossed the street in front of her silver, full-sized, single cab truck. She is described as white, tall, blonde hair, fair skin and in her mid-30s.

She pulled the pickup off the side of the road and got into an argument with the victim. During the altercation, she reportedly displayed a snub-nosed revolver, and threatened the caller before driving away.
