SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University director of athletic communication Jon Holtz has been named the Atlantic Region representative as part of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) national organization’s new governance.

Holtz’s appointment is through 2022 and marks his sixth straight year as a member of the national executive board.

Since taking over the Athletic Communication Office at SRU in 2014, Holtz and his staff have received more than 100 national and regional awards for excellence in publications, digital design, writing, social media, the website and as overall communication professionals.
