Winners of the Butler Elks Hoop Shoot are, first row from left: Cody West (12- and 13-year- old boys) and Paige White (12 and 13 girls); second row: Adam Jendesky (8 and 9 boys), Michael Mikula (10 and 11 boys), Morgan Pfabe (10 and 11 girls) and Noel Pfabe (8 and 9 girls). All six winners then competed at the District Hoop Shoot at Mars High School, where West won his division by making 21 of 25 free throws. Noel Pfabe placed second in the 8 and 9 girls division, while Mikula, Morgan Pfabe and Jendesky all placed third. West will be competing at the state championships March 10 in State College.
