Friends of the North Trails Public Library, 1553 W. Sunbury Road, West Sunbury, will have an Earth Day Hiking Fundraiser the weekend of April 22 to 25.

The 57-mile stretch of the North Country Trail in Butler County is called Blue Blazes and runs through State Game Lands 95, just down the road from the library.

The Butler Chapter of the North Country Trail and Friends of the North Trails Public Library are asking for $10 to register individual hikers and $25 for families of more than three.

People may donate to help pay for goody bags to be distributed to all hikers.
