Egg hunts raise money for school
Butler Catholic School, 515 E. Locust St., is holding a unique fundraiser this spring, called Egg My Yard.
In response to COVID-19 worries and some public egg hunts being canceled, the school will provide private egg hunts in families’ yards within a 10-mile radius of the school.
Candy-filled eggs will be scattered in a yard, starting with 25 eggs for $25 and going up to 100 eggs for $75.
Each delivery includes an empty egg. A letter will be placed on the owner’s door as a reminder of Jesus’ empty tomb.
Delivery will take place after 7 p.m. March 25 through March 27, March 31 and April 1 through 3.
