Leesburg, Fla., residents Grace Martin and Brandon Scott were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Oct. 8 at Lafayette Square in Savannah, Ga. The Rev. Sidney Brock officiated. Areception followed at The Garden Hotel in Savannah.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Amy Martin of Butler and Kenneth and Marilynn Blinn of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Steven and Marlyce Scott of Hendersonville, N.C.
The honor attendant was Christine Wesley of Kissimmee, Fla.
Performing the duties of best man was Sean Scott of Houston. Colt McDowell of The Villages, Fla., served as an usher.
The bride graduated in 1999 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2003 from Slippery Rock University. She works for The Villages Charter Intermediate School in The Villages.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of East Henderson High School and a 1999 graduate of Limestone College. He is employed at Leesburg High School in Leesburg.
Following a honeymoon trip to Savannah and St. Augustine, Fla., the couple is making their home in Leesburg.
