Voit, Kendrick

Lisa Marie and Mick Kendrick

Butler residents Lisa Marie Voit and Mick Kendrick were united in marriage at 4 p.m. April 8 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz officiated. Areception followed at the Butler Days Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Jennifer Voit of Sarver. Parents of the bridegroom are Wade Kendrick and Sharon Walker, both of Butler.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister Christina Voit of Sarver. Bridesmaids included Lisa Schaney of Zelienople; Sherri Osborne of Slippery Rock; and Dawn Gottschalk, Melissa Mangel and the groom's sister Autumn Kendrick, all of Butler. The flower girl was Maddison Grace Voit of Sarver.

Performing the duties of best men were Casey Kendrick of Chicora and Jason Draper of Butler. Ushers included Paul Chadman of Pittsburgh and Tom Stevenson of Butler.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of North Catholic High School; a 1998 graduate of Butler County Community College, receiving an associate of arts degree in communications; and a 2001 and 2006 graduate of Geneva College, receiving a bachelor of science degree in human resources and a master of science degree in organizational leadership. She works for Armstrong in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1994 from Karns City High School. A veteran of the Navy, he attended BC3 and Edinboro University. He is employed at Glade Run Lutheran Services in Zelienople.

Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Meridian.
