Butler residents Tara Gross and Benjamin Lutz were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 30 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibsonia. The Rev. Joel Benson officiated. Areception was held at the Tanglewood Center.
The bride is the daughter of Jacob and Christine Gross of Pittsburgh. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Linda Lutz of Butler.
The matron of honor was Renee Steele of Butler. Jennifer Montag of Butler served as a bridesmaid. The flower girl was Autumn Montag of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was the groom's brother Dan Lutz of Butler. The usher was Michael Metz of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Carlow College and recently graduated from Slippery Rock University, earning a master's degree. She works as a teacher in the Butler School District.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Clarion University. He works as a treasurer for Fugh Refrigeration in Mars.
Following a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World, the couple is making their home in Butler.
