Hecksel, Balfour
Karlyn Hecksel of Beaver Falls and Aaron Balfour of Callery were joined in marriage at 4 p.m. Oct. 8, 2005, at the Kentwood Christian Church in Kentwood, Mich. The Rev. Gregory Stauffer officiated.
A reception was held at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Mich.
The bride is the daughter of Dale and Toni Hecksel of Rockford, Mich.
The bridegroom's parents are Wanda Balfour of Callery and the late Earl Balfour.
The bride's honor attendant was Jessica Hecksel of Rockford. Bridesmaids were Lynnete Hecksel of Rockford, Katie McElhaney of Ohio, Sharon Zorkocy of New York and Sheryl Stecker of Michigan. Jennifer Nieberlein ofMichigan was the flower girl.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Chad Meyers of New York. Ushers were Eric Wearing of Evans City, Adam Quinn of Prospect, Michael Florie of Zelienople and Brad Hecksel of Rockford. Chase Wearing of Evans City was ring bearer.
The bride graduated in 1997 from Rockford High School before attending Geneva College. She works at St.John's Specialty Care Center in Mars.
The bridegroom is a 1994 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He graduated in 2003 from Butler County Community College. He is employed by Volcollect in Penn Hills.
The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico.
They reside in Mars.
