Stephanie Miller of Chicora and Peter Douglass Jr. of East Brady were joined in marriage at 2 p.m. May 27 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. David Dewitt officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Center inLyndora.
The bride is the daughter of Rick and Michelle Miller of Chicora.
The bridegroom's parents are Pete and Debbie Douglass of East Brady.
Rachelle Magnani of Chicora served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Miller of Fredericksburg, Va., and Courtney Hoover, Cathryn O'Donnell and Lindsay Hershberger, all of Chicora. Kayla Scotka of Kailua, Hawaii, was a junior bridesmaid.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Michael Debacco of East Brady. Ushers were Jason Miller of Chicora and Ricky Helch, Tim Douglass and Josh Douglass, all of East Brady.
The bride graduated in 2001 from Karns City High School. She also graduated from the nursing program at Butler County Community College in 2003 and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Slippery Rock University. She is employed at Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Karns City High School. He works at Swank Associates.
The couple resides in East Brady.
