NEMACOLIN — Jacob Wolak, 12, of Slippery Rock advanced in the Drive, Chip & Putt competition Thursday, winning the boys 12-13 age group in the sub-regional at Nemacolin Woodlands.

Wolak beat out a field of 12 in his age group. He finished first overall with 120 points and first in drives with 44 points.

He will advance to one of 10 regionals nationwide in September. Wolak expects to compete in Dublin, Ohio.
