Steven and Emily Sarver

Emily Seavolt and Steven Sarver, both of Ashland, Ky., were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 aboard a Carnival Cruise Ship in Miami, Fla. A reception followed aboard the ship.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Carol Seavolt, Pamela Seavolt and Damon Welch, all of Circleville, Ohio.

The matron of honor was Sommer Barham of Antioch, Tenn.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Gregory Jordan of Cranberry Township.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Logan Elm High School and a 1999 graduate of Ohio University at Athens. She works as a certified clinical perfusionist while pursuing a physician's assistant degree at the University of Kentucky.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2000 from Westminster College. He works as a perfusionist at King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Following a Western Caribbean cruise honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Ashland.
