Pinto, Cuny
Butler residents Nicole Pinto and Jon Cuny were united in marriage at 4 p.m. July 1 at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler Township. The Rev. James Murphy officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Hall.
The bride is the daughter of John and JoAnne Pinto of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Sandy Cuny of Renfrew and the late Alayne Cuny.
The honor attendant was Dina Pinto of Butler. Bridesmaids included Nanette Cuny of Butler, Shelly Balbach of Stowe Township and Dr. Elizabeth Gall of Erie. The junior bridesmaid was Katelyn Cuny of Butler. Jada Pinto of Butler was the flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was James Slater of Pittsburgh. Ushers included John Pinto and David Cuny, both of Butler, and Jeffrey Cuny of Cranberry Township. Junior groomsmen included Hogan Cuny and Nicklaus Cuny, both of Cranberry Township. Jake Cuny of Butler and Palmer Cuny of Cranberry Township served as ring bearers.
The bride is a graduate of Butler High School. She works at Kiddie City Child Care Center in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School and Penn State University. He works for Syngenta Professional Products of Greensboro, N.C.
Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple is making their home in Butler.
