Spaulding, Flinner
Abbie Spaulding of West Sunbury and Derek Flinner of Prospect were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. June 17 at St. John's Lutheran Stone Church in Harmony. The Rev. Robert Coval officiated. A reception was held at the Butler Days Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Cynthia Swidzinski of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are Ronald and Carol Flinner of Prospect.
The bride was presented for marriage by her step-father Daniel Swidzinski.
The maid of honor was Amy Cirelli of Butler. Bridesmaids included Stacy Rodgers of Butler and Michelle Cruikshank of Carnegie. The flower girls were Cloie Trufley of Butler and Madison Cunningham of Imperial.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Justin Flinner of Prospect. Ushers included David Rodgers and Scott Rodgers, both of Butler. The ring bearer was Jacob Cunningham of Imperial.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree at SRU and is employed at Pier 1 Imports in Butler.
The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2002 from Slippery Rock University. He is employed at Carbis Walker, LLP in New Castle.
Following a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
