April 30 — Robert K. Kelley, 41, of Winfield Township was charged with drunken driving stemming from a rollover wreck earlier in the month in Clearfield Township.

Kelley acknowledged losing control of his pickup truck shortly before 11 p.m. April 17 on Spiker Road near Clearfield Road, police said, and to having consumed alcohol earlier in the day.

He showed signs of impairment during field sobriety testings, according to court documents, and a portable breath test device indicated he had alcohol in his system.

A subsequent formal breath test determined his blood-alcohol level was 0.118 percent. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.

Kelley is charged with driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving.

2:42 a.m. April 26 — Craig L. Geibel, 30, of Center Township was arrested for DUI after a one-vehicle crash in Cherry Township. Police said Geibel wrecked his sport utility vehicle at Branchton and New Hope roads.

Geibel admitted having had “a few beers” before the crash, according to court documents. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a breath test, which showed his blood-alcohol level was 0.120 percent.

In addition to driving under the influence, he is charged with failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and reckless driving.

May 3 — An unknown thief overnight broke the driver’s side window of a tractor-trailer parked at the Quality Inn in Barkeyville and stole three items. Taken were an Apple iPad, a CB radio and a traffic camera.

The rig’s passenger side door also was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 814-676-6596.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Mercer[/naviga:h3]

April 23 — David M. McCarl, 29, of Greenville was arrested on a charge he used social media to send a nude picture to a Pine Township woman’s current boyfriend.

McCarl was arraigned on a misdemeanor count of unlawful dissemination of an intimate image. He subsequently waived that charge to Mercer County Court. He is free on $15,000 unsecured bail.
