May 11 — Michael Robert, 29, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence after he showed signs of drug impairment and was found slumped over in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in the parking lot near Evans City and Spithaler School roads in Forward Township.

May 25 — A 26-year-old male was assaulted causing bodily injury at Nail Road in Venango Township.

May 27 — Michael Ray, 25, of Sarver and Joshua Kenneth, 24, of Saxonburg were arrested on suspicion of assault and related charges following a physical altercation along North Boyd Drive at Jack’s Trailer Park in Buffalo Township.

May 29 — A 41-year-old East Butler man reported theft by deception with a credit or ATM card when an unknown person used the debit card to make a fraudulent purchase through Best Buy online. The transaction amounted to $710.
