Crews from city and township fire departments respond to a smoke alarm at the Butler Senior High School around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Firefighters said they quickly called off other units and investigated what tripped the alarm, which officials said ended up being a broken steam line. Firetrucks blocked vehicles as they exited the boys basketball game at the high school. The trucks were moved by 8:55 p.m., allowing people to exit the parking lot.
