Ballon, DeBord

Tina and Gabe DeBord

Tina Ballon and Gabe DeBord, both of Sylvania, Ohio, were united in marriage at noon Sept. 23 at Chapel Hill Lutheran Church in Prospect. The Rev. Gary Brown officiated. A reception followed at the Carousel Shelter in Alameda Park.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Sallie Ballon of Sylvania. Parents of the bridegroom are Doug and Sue DeBord of Swanton, Ohio, and Wendy DeBord of Sylvania.

The honor attendant was Amie Fielden of Tuscon, Ariz. Bridesmaids included Lisa Nagy of Cranberry Township; Dawn Seezox and Beth Kelly, both of Butler; Lori Ballon of Prospect; Jessica DeBord of Harbor Springs, Mich.; and Kim Jackson of Chicago. Butler residents Marki Seezox, Erika Seezox and Niki Kelly served as junior bridesmaids. The flower girls were Elayna Nagy of Cranberry Township and Isabella DeBord of Harbor Springs.

Performing the duties of best man was Zack DeBord of Chicago. Ushers included Matt Sackmann and Jamey Burnett, both of Toledo; Mark Sackmann of New York City; Nick Cantello and Darrin Wesenberg, both of Sylvania; and John Thompson of Cleveland. The ring bearers were Nolan Nagy of Cranberry Township and Jakob Sarnese of Prospect.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School. She works for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The bridegroom graduated in 1997 from Sylvania Northview High School. He works for UPS in Toledo.

The couple is making their home in Sylvania.
