Brennan, Self
Julie Brennan and Steve Self, both of Oakdale were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Avonworth Community Park in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Robert Keplinger officiated. A reception followed at the park.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Sue Brennan of Evans City. Parents of the bridegroom are Scott and Sharon Self of Carnegie.
The honor attendant was Janice Stephenson of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Bridesmaids included Margaret Self of Burgettstown and Mary Broussard of Spring City. Flower girls included Corey Self of Carnegie and Madison Broussard of Spring City.
Performing the duties of best man was Scott Self of Carnegie. Ushers included Scotty Self of Carnegie and Robert Schreffler of Great Falls, Mont. The ring bearers were Blake Nardi of Claysville and Jacob Loudin of Burgettstown.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 2006 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Business. She is currently a student at the Duquesne University School of Law.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Carlynton High School and Parkway Tech Automechanic School. He is self-employed.
Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple is making their home in Oakdale.
